TRAINING FOR PUBLIC & INDIAN HOUSING AUTHORITIES, OWNERS & CONTRACTORS WORKING ON NEW (DEVELOPMENT)

HUD, Office of Davis-Bacon & Labor Standards & Office of Public & Indian Housing put together the following training covering Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rate applicability to new "development" Section 8, Project Based Voucher Projects in accordance with HUD programs. This training will ensure that PHA's & IHA's, owners and contractors of new construction projects follow federal requirements before and during construction of these projects. Topics included review executing required agreements with owners of new construction projects and Davis-Bacon applicability thresholds, prevailing wage requirements, certified payrolls reports, employee interviews, apprenticeship, additional classification request and restitution for underpayment of wages. Registration is free.
Who should attend: This training will be for Local Housing Authorities, Indian Housing Authorities, Owners, Contractors and their staff located in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon & Washington.
